  • A: The investment for interior painting is tailored to your specific project, considering factors such as the square footage, the number of rooms, ceiling height, the current condition of your walls, and other preferences. Please note that the cost of paint is separate, allowing you the flexibility to choose the specific brand and finish that best suits your preferences and budget. We provide detailed, transparent quotes after a thorough assessment.

  • Q: How long does interior painting take?
  • A: Project duration varies depending on the scope and complexity of the work, and the necessary drying times between coats. We will provide a clear timeline during our consultation and timely progress updates as per your personal preference. Please note Artful Taste only provides interior painting services on weekends and statutory holidays (at no added cost).

  • Q: What kind of paint do you recommend?
  • A: We are pleased to offer expert recommendations tailored to your specific needs and the unique characteristics of each room. We can guide you through various options, including durable latex and specialized oil-based options, as well as a range of finishes such as elegant matte, versatile eggshell, and sophisticated satin. We are also pleased to recommend environmentally friendly, low-VOC paint selections upon request.

 

  • Q: Do I need to do anything to prepare my home before painting?
  • A: If you selected an option without 'light wall repairs' then please wash walls, patch holes, sand down surfaces, and then rewash. This is key to ensuring a flawless finish. For all services, please make sure all furniture and belongings are moved away from the areas being worked on. If unable to do so, you are responsible for tarping these adequately. Artful Taste will bring drop-sheets to protect flooring.

 

  • Q: Is wall surface preparation included in the cost?
  • A: If you selected an option with 'light wall repairs' then comprehensive surface preparation, including wall washing, minor patching of holes, light sanding, and rewashing, is included in our detailed quote to ensure a flawless finish. For more extensive repairs (typically greater than 1"), we will discuss options and provide costs transparently.

Here are some answers to our most commonly asked questions:

  • Q: What is your return policy?
  • A: We allow returns within 14 days of purchase, provided there is no damage to the product and you are the original purchaser. See our full return policy for details.

  • Q: Do you ship internationally?
  • A: At this time, we ship locally in Ontario, Canada. Should you wish to purchase from outside of Ontario, Canada, please contact us.

  • Q: How long does shipping take?
  • A: Shipping times vary depending on your location and the type of shipping selected. See our shipping page for more information.

  • Q: Are any of the products repeats?
  • A: No. Not one single piece's painting will be a repeat of any other we have created, not now, nor in the future. While colours may from time to time be similar, we do not track these colours.
